The number of migrants worldwide is increasing, and migrants are leaving their homes for a variety of reasons. The refugees and asylum-seekers among them are fleeing for their lives, forced to leave because of violence, persecution, disaster, or lack of access to basic human necessities.
The world hears about refugees all the time, but the world rarely hears from them. A Refugee’s Story hopes to change this through first person accounts of people living as refugees.
